The headquarters
Nest House
A renovated old house in the heart of Codos. This is where the community comes alive: this is where we gather, this is where we embrace one another.
Welcome
One house that is a thousand houses.
Codos has 300 residents and a house that serves as a home away from home for all the families in the program. We renovated it using green building practices and local materials. It’s our headquarters, yes, but above all, it’s a gathering place: for therapy sessions, breaks, games, paperwork, or a cup of coffee when needed.

What is it for?
A bridge between the workplace and family life
Children in foster care will live together in a safe space and rehabilitation until they are taken in by a family. The aim is to “to heal“the wounds from the children’s past, and thus prepare them for their new family to avoid setbacks.”
Nothing is improvised. Nothing is forced.

Our model
Person-Centered Comprehensive Care
We work from the Person-Centered Comprehensive Care (PCCC):The intervention is tailored to each child, not the other way around.
Your dignity, their rights, their life stories, and their meaningful participation in decisions that affect them. This is what prevents the breakdowns and failures of the past from recurring.
- The individual as the focus of intervention
- Emotional well-being and improved quality of life
- Respect for dignity and personal history
- Effective participation in one's own decisions
Why does it prevent failures?
- You can't just wing a comeback
- No forced adoptions
- Robust and sustainable processes are established
- We won't repeat the mistakes of the past
We'd like to buy you a cup of coffee.
