Bringing Este es mi nido to the medieval market in Jarque

Last Saturday, May 30, part of the “Este es mi nido” project team attended the medieval market held in the town of Jarque to commemorate the War of the Two Peters. We took advantage of this special day to introduce the project to residents, visitors, and anyone else interested who stopped by our information table.

It was an intense and particularly hot day, but also a very productive and rewarding one. Throughout the day, we had the opportunity to share the essence of our project, answer questions, forge new connections, and continue to build a community around an idea we deeply believe in: that every child deserves to grow up feeling like they belong in a home, in a safe environment, and within a support network that cares for and guides them.

For our team, reaching out to people, talking with them face-to-face, and raising awareness about this initiative is one of the most rewarding aspects of this journey we are building together.

We would like to thank everyone in Jarque for the warm welcome we received, as well as all the people who came to meet us, showed interest in the project, asked questions, or simply spent some time with us.

This project, promoted by COCEDER, is part of the ESF+ Program for Social Inclusion, Child Guarantee, and the Fight Against Poverty. It is co-financed by the European Union and the Ministry of Social Rights, Consumer Affairs, and the 2030 Agenda, as part of social interest programs funded through 0.7% of personal income tax, and is carried out in collaboration with the Government of Aragon.

We keep growing, we keep building our network, and we keep building our nests.
